I'm calling the alarm to HR 8404, the so-called "Respect for Marriage Act", which would put into actual federal law "gay marriage" rather than rely solely on the Obergefell v. Hodges 2015 Supreme Court decision. Democrats and RINOs are fast-tracking this bill, with it being introduced July 18th, 2022, and passing in just a few days. Now it's off to the Senate to be voted on without any committees! This can happen any day now, so please contact your legislators and remind them what true conservatism is! We need the religious moral conscience to steer politics once again.

September 25-27, 2025, I had the immense honor of being at the American Association of Christian Counselors World Conference in Nashville, TN, and co-presenting with Dr. Christopher Rosik, one of my fellow board members on the Alliance for Therapeutic Choice and Scientific Integrity! We presented on Censoring Christian Sexuality: Insights from the Trenches. In my portion, I outlined the Christian vision of sexuality and then the major factors why there is opposition to Christian sexual morality and Christian sexuality counseling, and why there are so many divisions within the church on the topic. For the sake of time, I had to chop a lot. So, here's a more thorough teaching, diving into philosophy, culture dynamics, and Moral Foundations Theory.

On Oct. 7th, the US Supreme Court heard oral arguments for the Kaley Chiles v. Salazar case involving a Christian counselor challenging Colorado's ban against "conversion therapy" for minors. This is a huge case for those of us who have been fighting for therapeutic choice since the first state ban in California passed in 2012.
