On 10/20/22, I presented at the 2nd conference of the ACHHS (Association of Christians in Health & Human Services) a breakout session explaining what actually happens in Reintegrative Therapy. RT is a treatment approach for trauma and addictions developed by Joseph Nicolosi, Jr (whose father is the founder of authentic Reparative Therapy), which has been found to be safe and effective in exploring sexual attraction fluidity. Although RT is not a religious approach, I show how it is compatible with a Christian worldview. I review the process of normative sexual development and the theory behind RT's techniques for gaining understanding and healing.

During the Alliance for Therapeutic Choice & Scientific Integrity online conference Aug. 28 & 29, 2026, a topic came up in our Q&A. I expounded on a phenomenon I've observed with certain male clients that contributes to some degree to their homosexuality. These clients come from strict religious upbringings that emphasize the purity of women. These anxious clients then internalize this as a block against their own heterosexual development.
