October 27th-29th, 2023, I was in Poland for the 9th annual IFTCC Conference as a speaker! The International Foundation (formerly Federation) for Therapeutic and Counselling Choice was founded by Mike Davidson from Core Issues Trust in the UK to be a hub of cross-disciplinary approaches to issues of sexuality and gender coming from a Judeo-Christian worldview. This year--my first ever--we had over 200 delegates from 32 nations! I share my highlights and an exhortation to the church in America based on my plenary presentation on the self-state model I use with my clients.

The culture war is actually a battle between masculine and feminine virtues. Instead of the masculine and feminine ruling together in harmony, one seeks to dominate the other. And though the feminine virtues may be considered the "soft virtues" like love, compassion, and safety, what we're seeing highlighted with the "woke revolution" and the current Lindsay Clancy case is just how dangerous the corrupted feminine is.

During the Alliance for Therapeutic Choice & Scientific Integrity online conference Aug. 28 & 29, 2026, a topic came up in our Q&A. I expounded on a phenomenon I've observed with certain male clients that contributes to some degree to their homosexuality. These clients come from strict religious upbringings that emphasize the purity of women. These anxious clients then internalize this as a block against their own heterosexual development.
