What does psychological, emotional, and sexual change entail? Before we dive into the change process for the sexuality issues I usually address, it would be good to review the processes of transformational change of emotions, behavioral problems, attachment styles, and outdated schemas. We'll see how experiential therapies--and even certain ministry approaches--use memory reconsolidation to edit the emotions, behaviors, and core beliefs associated with implicit memories. If you're a client, this would be a great video to help orient you to the therapy process.

I'm honored to present this interview with Christine Sneeringer, director of Worthy Creations. We discuss her story of sexual redemption, coming to Christ as a lesbian in a church softball team. She served alongside the late Sy Rogers for 20 years, producing his videos, so we reminisce about Sy. And we cover Christine's new book, "Answers to Gender Madness," reviewing the chapter on do's and don'ts for parents when their child announces a trans identity. There are some great nuggets in this conversation. Be blessed!

This brief exercise is a homework routine you can use to transform outdated schemas (templates for how you feel, believe, and act). In this video, we'll review schema formation and the counteractive and memory reconsolidation approaches to changing schemas, then learn how to practice changing your implicit learning on your own. This schema disconfirmation exercise is an excellent follow-up to the coherence script I previously taught.

Here is a brief script you can use to understand the way you feel, think, and act (even the way you tend to sin) as part of double-looping with yourself (a strategy for gaining understanding and acceptance of yourself). Instead of viewing yourself just as crazy, weak, or depraved, the Coherence Script (which I borrow from Bruce Ecker's Coherence Therapy) helps you compassionately make sense of your experience and choices.
