In this final clip from my larger response to Julia Sadusky's criticism of Reintegrative Therapy, I address the myth propagated by her--and Gregory Coles from the Center for Faith, Sexuality & Gender--that the landmark Pela & Sutton (2021) study of 75 men undergoing Reintegrative Therapy and experiencing increased well-being and shift in sexuality was not truly largescale and longitudinal. This study was the first ever prospective one to measure the safety and efficacy of sexual attraction fluidity in therapy, so the smear campaign against it is particularly egregious.

I expounded on a phenomenon I've observed with certain male clients that contributes to some degree to their homosexuality. These clients come from strict religious upbringings that emphasize the purity of women. These anxious clients then internalize this as a block against their own heterosexual development.
