This month marked the 5th anniversary of the COVID lockdowns. As we went through 2020 and certain frontline doctors started challenging the narrative, I made a video pointing out the parallels between how they were treated and how my colleagues and I are treated in the field of therapy for unwanted same-sex attraction and gender identity confusion. They were called dangerous quacks; we're called the same and labeled "conversion therapists." We've all been censored and worse. Recently, Jordan Peterson interviewed Simone Gold, one of the founders of America's Frontline Doctors, and her story vindicated all that I've been saying.

In honor of my parents' birthdays (Dec. 16 and 17), I interview them to discuss Open Heart Ministry, their service to the homeless and displaced in Myrtle Beach, SC. Luis and Marilyn Rodriguez are chaplains with years of experience doing lay ministry and pastoral work, such as mission trips, prison ministry, helping people in addiction recovery, teaching ESL and GED training, and caring for the elderly. I admire my parents for always being open to the Holy Spirit leading them to show people their worth.
