As a therapist who specializes in this topic, I want to supplement Sean's advice with guidance on how to go further in helping someone explore his/her SSA with curiosity and compassion, and hopefully heal what may underlie the SSA, as well as respond to pushback I receive from certain conservative Christians.

The culture war is actually a battle between masculine and feminine virtues. Instead of the masculine and feminine ruling together in harmony, one seeks to dominate the other. And though the feminine virtues may be considered the "soft virtues" like love, compassion, and safety, what we're seeing highlighted with the "woke revolution" and the current Lindsay Clancy case is just how dangerous the corrupted feminine is.
