I'm Andrew Rodriguez, a Christian therapist, speaker, and former youth pastor. In my counseling, I specialize in sexual and relational issues. PsychoBible is my outlet for discussing ideas about the intersection of Christianity and psychology, especially regarding sexuality and cultural issues.
Some topics to expect: Theology of the Body, therapy for unwanted same-sex attraction, and the culture war.
Alan Chambers, the former and final president of Exodus (the premier umbrella organization for ex-gay ministries) who shut it down in 2013 and embraced pro-gay theology, was just arrested for soliciting what he believed was a 14-year-old boy, but was actually a detective. The media and LGBT activists are spinning this as an indictment against ex-gay ministries. But the fact is Chambers has been opposed to our work for at least 15 years. So, is his downfall a sign of hypocrisy or the outcome of refusing to work on his root issues and instead embracing a doctrine of "pure grace" that doesn't require repentance and transformation? Let's hear from some insiders that know more about Chambers and his tenure at Exodus.

Justin Greenfield is a speaker and spiritual director, coaching churches and individuals to more redemptively address LGBTQ+ topics. I invited him onto my channel to share his story, which serves as a decent case study in the common roots of developing same-sex attraction. We also tie in poignant commentary on recent research.

The culture war is actually a battle between masculine and feminine virtues. Instead of the masculine and feminine ruling together in harmony, one seeks to dominate the other. And though the feminine virtues may be considered the "soft virtues" like love, compassion, and safety, what we're seeing highlighted with the "woke revolution" and the current Lindsay Clancy case is just how dangerous the corrupted feminine is.

I'm taking a brief break from my typical videos to give some encouragement inspired by the new Looney Tunes movie, "Coyote vs. Acme," featuring my favorite characters, Wile E. Coyote and Roadrunner. If you've been facing challenges and disappointments, take some lessons from the genius that is Wile E. Coyote!
